Letzte Woche bin ich nach einem Jahr in der Wildnis (=den USA ;-) ) wieder zur Krippe zurückgekehrt, nach Hause gekommen, zu Besuch. Schön ist es. So schön, Family und Freunde endlich wiederzusehen die ich schon lange vermisst habe, aber auch schön zu sehen dass es auch Konstanten gibt im Leben und sich manche Dinge eben nicht ändern, und Vertrautheit und Verbundenheit bleibt. Ich bin also schon nach 3 Tagen nach Berlin gefahren und habe das Schnuppilein (Sandra) besucht, und wir haben gequatscht, gequatscht, gequatscht, es gab soviel nachzuholen. Zur allgemeinen Freude ist auch noch Benno mit seiner Freundin Marlen vorbeigekommen, und wir hatten eine gute Zeit zusammen. Ich hoffe, dass es nicht wieder ein Jahr dauert, bis wir das wiederholen können!!! ;-) Last week I returned to the crib, home to Germany, to visit. It is so nice. So nice to see family and friends again that I missed for a long time, and also good to see that there are things that don't change, constants that remain, intimacy and familiarity that stays. After 3 days I went to Berlin to see my friend Sandra, and we talked, talked, talked, tons to catch up. And as the bonus Benno and his girlfriend Marlen visited too, so that we had a real good time together. I hope that it won't take another year until we can repeat this!
