An seinem 29-ten Geb. hat Burki von mir eine Überraschungsparty organisiert bekommen. Mit Hilfe seiner Mama haben wir leckere Sachen vorbereitet und mit Hilfe einiger Freunde eine super Deko hinbekommen. Und als alle da waren, kam es auch schon nach Hause, das Geburtstagskind. Er war wirklich überrascht, keiner hatte was verraten, und die Freude war riesig, die Überraschung gelungen! So viele liebe Freunde sind gekommen, und es wurde ein super Abend!!! Danke nochmal an alle für eure Mithilfe (vor allem an Regina), und dass ihr so zahlreich gekommen seid!!! Es war richtig klasse! For his 29th birthday I have organised a surprise party for Burki. With the help of his mom and some friends, the decoration and food preparation was really good. And as all friends have gathered together, Burki already came home: it was a great surprise, he was overwhelmed, nobody has slipped out any hint before, and it was perfect! So many dear friends have taken part, and it became a great evening! Thanks again for all your help (especially to Regina)! It was a blast!!!
Ihr Lieben, ich hoffe, Ihr hattet alle einen guten Rutsch ins Neue Jahr und einen guten Start!!! Nachdem ich wieder aus Arizona wiedergekommen bin, war es schön, alte Freunde zu treffen, und ein wenig die deutsche Weihnachtszeit zu genießen - denn nirgendwo schmeckt der Glühwein so gut wie auf einem schönen Weihnachtsmarkt!!! Und das Wunderbare ist ja, dass sich alle Leutchen zu dieser Zeit des Jahres wieder zuhause einfinden, so dass man zumindest einmal im Jahr die Gelegenheit hat, sich gegenseitig upzudaten :-) Dear all, I wish a wonderful 2007 to everybody, and I hope you all had a good start into this New Year!!! After coming back from Arizona, it was good to see old friends again and enjoy the German holiday season - the Glühwein is just the best at home, on one of the nice Christmas markets... And it is good, that every year all people come back to their homes to celebrate Christmas with their parents, so that we have the opportunity to update each other about our lives regularly :-)
